Will my insurance cover any prescription medicine I purchase?

If “pharmacy” or “vaccines and immunisations” are included on your extras cover you may be able to claim for some non-PBS listed medicines and vaccines. These could be drugs that are TGA approved but are either still being considered for inclusion on the PBS, or medication that didn’t make the list for various reasons. They do need to be registered with the TGA though.

How do I refill or order new prescriptions?

Present to the pharmacy with your original or repeat prescriptions to be filled. 
We now accept ePresciptions from your Doctor for Prescrption medicine. Just present to the pharmacy with a photo ID for pick up of your prescription.

Can I buy generic brand prescriptions even though my doctor prescribed me a brand name medication?

Unless otherwise stated by your Doctor, you can decide on which brand prescription you would like dispensed.
